3.0 Intervention



Through my observation I realized that there were some groups if students in grade 7B who have not reach to achievement level of mathematics. They became a disturbance to the other students. And also I couldn’t finish my lessons on time because of them. There for I implemented my intervention steps In order to find a solution for above questions.
                                   
                                    The main object of the research was developing students’ skills regarding the basic mathematical operations such as addition and subtraction. When I try to archive this target I should involve developing the students step by step. First of all I should plan the activities for each step. Then I got the marks of term test and an
alyzed it to select students who haven’t minimum mathematical kn
 owledge.




After the identify students, who had the difficulties regarding the subtraction. I informed about it to the mentor. After that I discuss with the principal of the school and got the permission through the letter to implement the research (Annex 02).  Then I created research proposal and handed over it to the Ruwanpura National Collage of Education after approval of lecture in-charge (Annex 03).   After getting permission   I started to intervention.
                       
I gave pre test for students to understand student level correctly. (Annex 04)
